How to choose the best sander or grinding disc for a pottery wheel?

Quick guide to choosing the right sanding disc for your pottery wheel:

Size: 20cm or 30cm?
The standard 20cm size is usually enough. For more heavy-users or those who use it frequently (including schools with several students, etc.), we recommend the BIG series (30cm).

Grit:

• Fine grit is ideal for polishing minor imperfections and achieving a smooth surface finish.
• Coarse grit removes more material.

Some potters even use both: first, the coarse grit for grinding, and then the fine grit for a perfect surface finish.
