Main Uses for the Bat-Holding Cloth
Let´s summarize the two main uses:
- To hold the bats in place on the pottery wheel without the need for screws or any type of anchoring.
- To use them with our round diamond grinding discs without attaching/sticking them to any bat or wheel.
Our grinding discs already come with a strong 3M sticker to attach them to bats or any other surface. However, another option, without sticking them, is to place them directly on top of the cloth to grip the discs.
Place the grinding disc directly on the dampened cloth. Center it slightly, press it gently to set it in place, and you can start smoothing or repairing your ceramic pieces right away.
Note 1: Always use it damp.
Note 2: After a period of inactivity, the cloth may become quite stiff, but simply wetting it again with water will restore its original flexibility.
